Our Directors
Dr. Manju Nair
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Dr. Manju Nair is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who specialises in Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound Education. With a keen interest in advancing medical education, she holds the position of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Swansea University. Dr. Nair has also earned a Masters Degree in Medical Education, further enhancing her expertise in this field.
Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of ultrasound education, Dr. Nair's research focuses on this area. Over the past five years, she has played a pivotal role in organising numerous ultrasound courses throughout Wales, contributing to the professional development of healthcare practitioners.
Dr. Nair's professional achievements include being recognised as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is also a member of the International Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the AMEE (International Association for Health Professional Education).
Prof. Arun Ramachandran
Consultant Neonatologist
Professor Arun Ramachandran is a Consultant Neonatologist within the NHS. With a passion for Medical Education, Research, and Quality Improvement in healthcare, he brings a wealth of expertise to his field. Prof. Ramachandran holds multiple academic leadership positions and has a proven track record in organising both national and international conferences.
At Swansea University Medical School, he serves as the Admissions Lead for the Graduate Entry Medical School (GEM) and Physician Associate (PA) programs, showcasing his commitment to shaping the future of medical professionals. He holds the title of Honorary Professor at Swansea University and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health. His dedication to advancing the field of Paediatrics and Neonatology extends internationally, as he fulfills the role of RCPCH MTI Champion Wales.
